Forget the unplayable roll-up backgammon sets on the market – no serious player will use these – Geoffrey Parker has created a hard-sided roll-up backgammon!
Utilising new technology our craftsmen & women print your backgammon colour design directly onto our leather, the playing field is then bound to two magnetic leather sides with 3 ‘loose’ sides that magnetise into place creating a rigid, hard sided backgammon. Once rolled up, the “board” and walls stow neatly within a drawstring bag which also houses acrylic stones/checkers, dice and doubling cube. Although we can make dice cups as an extra, we feel that the main point of the board is to keep it as light and easily stowable as possible within one’s luggage.

Travel Backgammon
The perfect gift for those who love to travel; our professional Travel Backgammon is lightweight and small enough to slide into a suitcase; our Roll-Up Backgammon is perfect for any travelling player. Back in 1961 when we first started making Backgammon, we had an idea for rolling up our boards for travel but as inlayers of leather and not stitchers; we could see no way of doing this without the inlays lifting. Fast forward 50 years and whilst working on our family board games with new technology that allowed us to print on leather; suddenly we realised that our design could now work.
Whether you’ll be playing in a cafe in the sunshine or in a log cabin by a fire after a day on the slopes; our travel backgammon is the perfect size to pack on every holiday. The board is magnetised and unclips to enable you to roll it up around itself. The board comes with a Geoffrey Parker bag which the roll-up backgammon slides into. The travel backgammon set features our acrylic stones these are lighter than our traditional leather stones making them more suitable for short-haul travel.
Colour Options and Personalisation
Our Roll-Up Backgammon playing fields can be made almost any colour combination. For the frames, we offer Black, Brown, Red and Navy blue; please note, we do not recommend trying to match the printed leather board to the tanned leather frame. The two colours will never match perfectly as they are coloured in very different ways – so it is recommended that a contrasting colour should be chosen.
Acrylic stones/checkers are available in black, red and white. Standard spot dice and doubling cube in Ivory colour.

We offer complimentary delivery on all of our board games over £200. We usually despatch items in stock within 24 hours on working days and your product will be with you between 3-7 days worldwide depending on import & customs running times.
Our games table shipment cost will be quoted and calculated during the design process.
Embossing & Gifting
All of our products can include complimentary embossing using times new roman font. For those looking for something more unique like a handwritten note, font, or logo this will come with an additional charge due to the embossing die and artwork requirements.
