These sets are available in our specialist gaming calf leather and exotic water-snake across different sizes & styles of chessmen. For all custom chess sets our team are on hand to help create a truly unique board, from including initials on the board or plinth to custom playing pieces.
Professional Chess Sets
Our chess sets are made as professional chess sets first and foremost. Handmade to order with chess pieces carved and triple weighted so that foul play is prevented; when the chess piece is tilted to a 45-degree angle it will right itself to ensure that a gentleman playing cannot concede the game with the cuff of his sleeve.

Luxury Chess Set – design a board to suit your style
Our luxury chess Set has been central to Geoffrey Parker’s business from the start. It is the first board game we produced, setting Geoffrey Parker on the path to becoming synonymous with high-quality board games. Since then, we’ve shipped our luxury chess boards around the world, while still handcrafting them in our workshops in England.
Our custom chess set is perfect for a player of any skill level; for those who love a game in the evening to those who play in tournaments. Handmade to order these luxury chess sets are nothing short of beautiful; created to stay on display they can take pride of place in your living room inviting all to play.
Custom Options
- Custom colour choices – choose your board colour, your plinth and frame colour. You can also have your chessmen bases changed should you want leather embossed with your initials below each piece.
- Names, logos and initials. The possibilities are endless. We’ve created a wide range of designs, from the Rolling Stones logo on each light square to a subtle hand-embossed initial in the corner of the board. We have also had customers place logos and custom messages hand-embossed on the plinth.
- You can customize the chess pieces – our sets come with hand-carved, triple-weighted pieces, but we also offer options like sterling silver, acrylic, or custom designs to suit your preferences.
Staunton Chess
This stunning board features our classic Staunton chess set which works together with this beautiful piece of leatherwork. Our luxury chess set features a hand-inlaid leather chessboard that sits inside the plinth.
Pivot the board up to access the chessmen, stowed snugly in their individual black felt compartments. As with all our products, this board is handmade to order. This enables us to offer a high level of custom options, but it does take time to make.
I have to say this is one of the most beautiful boards I’ve ever purchased. The customer service was amazing and the board itself is even better than I could have ever imagined.

Over our 65 year history handmaking luxury board games we have produced for some of the finest brands in the world. We are proud to produce all of our board games in house to ensure we provide only the highest quality goods.
Worldwide Delivery
We offer complimentary delivery on all of our board games over £200. We usually despatch items in stock within 24 hours on working days and your product will be with you between 3-7 days worldwide depending on import & customs running times.
Our games table shipment cost will be quoted and calculated during the design process.
Embossing & Gifting
All of our products can include complimentary embossing using times new roman font. For those looking for something more unique like a handwritten note, font, or logo this will come with an additional charge due to the embossing die and artwork requirements.
