Skittles is an old English lawn game; very similar to bowling, it’s predominantly played in the United Kingdom and Ireland as both an indoor and outdoor game.

Now popular around the world each country has it’s own variation of the game; in Catalonia, it’s called Bitlles and is considered a very local game.

It’s thought Skittles dates back as far as 3300 BEC in Ancient Egypt but also shares a heritage with bowls and other lawn games.
