Our “Off the Bench” range of Backgammon draws from our extensive knowledge gained over almost 50 years of making the World’s finest Championship boards. These “edited luxury” Backgammon offers an affordable but luxurious board built for the avid player or those who appreciate beautiful craftsmanship. There are two sizes currently available: Tournament size (1.75” / 44.5 mm stones/checkers) or Fireside(1.25” / 32.0 mm stones/checkers). These attaché cased boards are hand bound in two sumptuous leathers: Mountain Hide or Mock Croc print. Each playing field is inlaid by hand in full leather. A pair of stitched leather dice cups are supplied along with acrylic stones/checkers traditionally flat one side with a finger dish the other side for contemporary play; four drilled 16mm (5/8”) spot dice and a deep etched 30mm (1.15”) doubling cube. For security of your precious board we have fitted a pair of satin nickel combination locks and a contoured leather handle for comfort while carrying. Currently there are 8 stunning colour-ways in Mountain Hide and 2 in Mock Croc - see at the bottom of this page for colour options,.
