# 801 Handsize Travel Magnetic Backgammon

A small, hard-sided clutch bag sized magnetic Backgammon and Chess set. Originating from our collection made for the Venice Simplon Orient Express back in the Seventies and now up-dated with printed leather playing boards.

Extra tall Boxwood hand-turned Backgammon stones/checkers are inlaid with different colours of leather and magnetise to the board for stability while travelling, as do the Rosewood and Boxwood miniature Staunton design chessmen. Even the Backgammon bar is magnetised for “taken” stones. Four spot and a 16 mm (0.63”) doubling cube are supplied as is a protective felt drawstring bag.

Optional extras include a fully inlaid leather playing field version (# 805/Champ) and a pair of lozenge shaped dice cups (# DCL/85).

This unassuming clutch-bag case is bound in Dauphin calf leather, compliments the printed Lambskin interior.
