Game Compendia - introduction:
A very popular request for us is to twin or compile multiples of our games – however unlike many gaming suppliers, we do not compromise on the quality of the items within our compendia – why should they be of a less specification or quality? So you will find many items that may appear through the pages of our web-site in their own right that have been included within a compendium. Our current range is very extensive as is as follows:
An award winning design (won the British Design Association award for "outstanding design" at Decorex 2008) incorporating a stunning 26 games into one cube!
Hand inlaid throughout, the 6 gaming boards on the outside can be made in any of our Dauphin calf leathers and is trimmed in Stainless Steel for a "contemporary" feel.
The Backgammon slides open to reveal a further 19 games inside, housed in a series of felt drawstring bags, labelled with its contents. A great favourite aboard private yachts where space is often at a premium but where one requires safe stowage of ones games and an item to reflect the quality of the yacht.
# 87/57-F The Professional Travel Backgammon & Chess compendium
Based on our Tournament size Backgammon set – this is a travelling compendium for the serious player! Not required to be lightweight or small in size, this is aimed purely at the avid player who wants to take his precious boards away with him. One attaché case within another allows one to take both away together or each separately.
A brand new design currently under construction and expected to be finished by Christmas 2008 (please see our drawings pictured). This will be a magnificent piece, available in numerous leathers, although the first out of our workshops will be made in super-car perforated Automotive leather and trimmed with polished Stainless Steel. Sitting at almost 8ft x 4ft (2400 x 1200 mm) the table will seat at least 8 players and doubles as a dining/boardroom table, concealing its “cargo” from view when not in use, however, within a moments notice it can be transformed into a full “in house” casino to include Blackjack, Poker, Roulette and Craps.

Encased within our # 83 Compact Travel size Backgammon is this small compendium which includes Double-six Dominoes, a full Bridge set and Poker dice.
# 805/PL Handsize Travel Backgammon & Chess set
A small, hard-sided clutch bag sized magnetic Backgammon and Chess set. Originating from our collection made for the Venice Simplon Orient Express back in the Seventies and now up-dated with printed leather playing boards and miniature wooden/magnetic Staunton style chessmen and Backgammon stones with leather inlays.

Sitting atop a scalloped sided plinth a beautiful hand inlaid reversible Chess/Backgammon board conceals beneath a felt or suede lined stowage area for all the playing pieces required for each game. # GC/VIC/10 Victorian Gaming chest
An antique design brought up-to-date – bound by hand in Dauphin calf and trimmed in sumptuous suede and housing 10 games. The chest has a folding reversible Chess/Backgammon board and swinging open wings proudly displaying the playing pieces therein.
A giant inlaid leather Dice cube stowing all manner of children’s classics and a few grown up ones as well!
# GGC/Wkr Garden Games Compendium
A magnificent English willow “picnic” basket housing everything one needs for a “weekend’s gaming in the country”.
Often we twin classic games such as Monopoly® and Scrabble® or Trivial Pursuit® and Cluedo® to stunning effect within one of our scalloped sided leather-bound plinths.
