BACKGAMMON - attaché cases

Traditionally made on a solid wood core and bound by hand in Dauphin calf leather, our folding attaché cased boards are available in 6 sizes, from Competition to hand-size travel (see below).

All hardware is solid brass and either plated in gold or nickel to prevent tarnishing. On the larger boards (# 89, 87, 86 and 85) we fit combination locks while the smaller Compact Travel set (# 83) this has a smaller key lock and our very small Hand-size Travel board (# 81) closes by way of hidden magnets.

Our handles for the larger cases (# 89, 87, 86 and 85) are hand stitched and made entirely of leather, complete with bottom and top riser for easy of carrying. The Compact Travel set has a leather “fishtail” handle for occasional use which lies flat when not in use, whilst the Hand-size Travel case has a clean finish with no handle to obstruct packing in ones luggage.

The “bars” within the boards are made entirely of leather and give a perfectly flat area for “taken” stones. Stowage is provided on all boards at the front (except for the Hand-size set which has none to achieve the smallest finished size). In most cases the dice are stowed within the dice cups.
